I have a request, doing research.
to gather around 5 friends who would be willing to par-take in my research.
there are 3 parts:
1) waking up 1hr. 15min. before you need to get to school.
if you are in school, if its a job, this time line is the same.
2) 'gaming' for only 1 hr per day.
3) ALL electronics are shut down by 9 p.m.
You would be accountable for you actions, your friends would be
accountable to you daily, then you would report to me daily with
each ones accountability.
We will do this for 30 days.
You will keep a daily report for yourself, see how different you feel. at 9 pm, this is when the family would come together to share their day to express all desires.
Let me know if you are willing to partake.
Sitting in the backyard at my sisters house,
the sun had set about an hour ago, the sky turned that magical shade
of light blue with a soft purple hugh.
Moon hadn't shown itself.
The air shifted from the warmth from the sun,
to a coolness that feels so comforting on my skin.
Having a glass of wine, breathing in all the joy
that comes from being with my sister.
We are talking about relationships. The uniqueness
of each one of them. 'D' said something about David,
(her husband of almost 40 yrs) that triggered us into laughter to the point of having physical pain
running from my lower back into my belly.
When she was able to speak again, her stories continued to
bring more laughter. Fantastic.
Being spontaneous, she layered one story on top of another.
We were holding our sides, felt like they would pop out any moment.
Oh how I cherish these times.
My sister loves her life, she's content with being in one place.
I, on the other hand, am a wonderer.

I know times have changed, how can one not see that!
Yet, when it comes to 'raising' children, what I see today compared
to how life had been, how the children today seem to
live in a world surrounded by materialism, & electronics.
I feel their precious minds have been so 'dumbed' down,
so inundated in this computer age, that they can't tell
time on an analog clock.
Nor can they use their minds to give change.
These statements were taken right from the LA Times.
“Anxious parents keep a tight grip”
" Parents hire, night nurses, nannies, camp consultants, batting coaches,
SAT tutors. They try to be deeply attuned to every pimple in their child's
life path and scurry to remove it."
"Unable to let go"
“Anxiety thrives on superstition. If you worry about something happening,
and it doesn't happen, there's a part of our irrational mind that feels it didn't
happen because we worried about it. So worrying is very, very hard to give up in any domain.”
Wow, very, very hard to give up!
Sure enough. Speak it, so it shall be.
What ever one wants to believe, what ever the mind tells you, &
you want to believe it as THE truth, then for sure,
very, very hard to give up.
It isn't what happens, its' how you deal with it.
My sweet grandson Reece, who is a talented musician
has been talking about 'how tired he is.'
over and over, “I'm so tired, I'm falling asleep in class.”
I said, “Reece, I have a believe system, what that is, when
I say something over and over, my body and mind takes it on as a truth.
I'm tired, I'm tired, soon, there's nothing else in my world, tired is the
only thing my body hears. When I notice I'm going down a path
that ultimately can harm me, I must change the channel.
I'm alive, full of energy, thrilled to have chosen this time to be here.
Excited about all the gifts God is presenting to me.
Breathing into my belly, throwing my shoulder back.
Soon, what was once the feeling of 'tired' is totally gone.”
there was a glow from his entire being.
He left for the week end, so I will report on him later.
We've become a society of 'Addictions'.
We have a 12 step program for EVERYTHING.
Trust me here, I admire those who go to the meetings, they practice the principles, walk their talk.
These are the ones that make a difference in the world, they work the program.
I've been to many of them spoken at some.
Thrilled they are here.
Always we hope someone else has the answer.
Some other place will be better.
Some other time it will turn out.
This is it.
No one else has the answer,
no other place will be better
and it has already turned out.
At the center of your being you have the answer;
you know Who You Are and you know what you want.
There is no need to run outside for better seeing
or to peer from a window.
Rather ~ hang out at the center of your being ~
for the more you leave it the less you remember."
-- Lao Tzu
In a shelter in Japan, junior high school students got paper and paints
and made a large bright, energetic sign that said, “To have life is profound joy.”
It was hung high overhead so everyone could see it and be encouraged by the words.
“ Finding my way thru the maze of life,
feeling, smelling, tasting all that comes my way.
The wondering no longer has a hold on me,
my beloved angels have given me wings.”mw
Could judgment towards ourselves and others be the ultimate evil?
I say, it could be in the event you hadn't paid attention to what the judgment is.
This is the 'human' way.
This evolution of consciousness brings about what we might not have seen at any other time.
the homeless person standing on the street corner with a sign:
'homeless, please help!'
next time, pay attention to the thoughts that filter thru.
I have them, it's who we are.
The animal world stay's clear of judgments.
We think we're the superior beings!
What a hoot...
Mother Earth, has been more than patient with us 'human's'
She's tired of our antics.
Shaking herself loose of the rubble,
She sure has gotten our attention, hasn't She. . .
Like a child late for school, wake up.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers
exactly what the universe is for and why it is here, it will
instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more
bizarre and inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has happened.
Human salvation lies in the hands of the creatively maladjusted.

John Hatchard wrote this to me
I now have something to share with you. This piece comes from a
book that the Vatican would not permit to be published in the
lifetime of the author. He was a Jesuit priest/scientist named
Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. In his book "Hymn of The Universe",
published in 1961, he wrote:
HUMANITY IN PROGRESS
The world is a building. This is the basic truth which must first be understood so
thoroughly that it becomes an habitual and as it were natural springboard for our
thinking. At first sight, beings and their destinies might seem to us to be scattered
haphazard or at least in an arbitrary fashion over the face of the earth; we could
very easily suppose that each of us might equally well have been born earlier or
later, at this place or that, happier or more ill starred, as though the universe
from the beginning to end of its history formed in space time a sort of vast flower
bed in which the flowers could be changed about at the whim of the gardener.
But this idea is surely untenable. The more one reflects, with the help of all that
science, philosophy and religion can teach us, each in its own field, the more one
comes to realize that the world should be likened not to a bundle of elements
artificially held together but rather to some organic system animated by a broad
movement of development which is proper to itself. As the centuries go by it
seems that a comprehensive plan is indeed being slowly carried out around us.
A process is at work in the universe, an issue is at stake, which can best be
compared to the processes of gestation and birth; the birth of that spiritual reality
which is formed by souls and by such material reality as their existence involves.
Laboriously, through and thanks to the activity of mankind, the new earth is
being formed and purified and is taking on definition and clarity. No, we are not
like the cut flowers that make up a bouquet: we are like the leaves and buds of
a great tree on which everything appears at its proper time and place as required
and determined by the good of the whole.
Hymn of the Universe Père Teilhard de Chardin 1961
(Fontana 1974 pps 84-5)
Those were the thoughts of a Jesuit priest/scientist half a century ago.
He was in Mongolia searching for the earliest remains of the human species.
He was the man who coined the word 'noosphere' for that part of the
biosphere that resides in the Mind of Man, 'that which knows and knows
that it knows' - human self consciousness. His conclusion was that if
evolution continued on this planet it would take place in the Mind of Man
accompanied by a decline in the variety of other species.
If he knew about the Mayan calendar I doubt if he was interested in it.
Wishing vs Intending
When you wish for something to happen you’re accepting defeat.
You’re saying to the Universe, “I can’t do this for myself so can you
pretty please, with a cherry on top, do it for me?” Intending, on the
other hand, implies that YOU are incredible, powerful, and have the
ability to create your own reality. When you write down your intentions
make sure to use verbs such as intend, plan to, am determined to, will,
Don’t use verbs such as wish or hope.
Oops, so sorry, I don't remember who wrote this, if it's you please remind me..........
Epictetus , the ancient Greek philosopher , said,
“Man is not disturbed by
events , but by the view he takes of them.”
Perfect analogy, this is all of life. ,rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic,
looking to find 'safe' ground. what a hoot.
Well, last week I was listening to voices in my head, this is what I kept hearing;
"when will 'my' place show up" when will my car arrive, how much longer do
I have to wait for my life to take a new direction. over and over with no
let up, for 3 days, I'm listening to this incessant chatter. like trying to
put a nano particle into a molecule that would fit into a grain of rice.
what a nerd...
Some time during the 3rd day, I HEARD, LOUD, & CLEAR
“ what the h--- are you talking about, who gave you entry into my mind?"
still didn't have clarity, yet, it didn't have a hold on me, nor did I give it any
of my attention. breathing, tapping, working with Ray at his new 'cottage' (where
he will be living ) yesterday my sister called, asking me to come, she wants me
to be with her during this time, infections on her feet, Doctor told her she
should not walk, can not get them wet, she needs to heal.
I told her I could be there on Thursday, Ray will be driving down to LA,
he has an appointment, he will drop me off.
Emailing Mike (Mayan Majix Magical web master) filling him in on what is moving my life.
Mike, for my sister to reach out, to ask me to come, I wept, we just celebrated
her 72nd B-Day, last time I came to be with her, David had asked me, so this
is huge. when I speak with God, saying my life is about being of service.
this is the avenue that supports my soul.
Clarity comes when it comes, not one moment sooner.
I feel calmer knowing where I'm going .
"Sometimes the most important thing in a whole day is the rest we take between
two deep breaths, or the turning inwards in prayer for five short minutes."
Have we blundered enough? Yes we have. This path has extended itself
to points beyond our view, & yet, we can see forever. Where else would
we be? Where else would we want to be? There's magic in the air, I feel it,
being I feel it, I know you do too.
I'm not the only one out there that see's, feels, experiences the joy & Love
the way I'm experiencing these times.
“It seems that the necessary thing to do is not to fear mistakes, to plunge in,
the best that one can, hoping to learn enough from blunders to correct them eventually.”
No Time To Wait
Having many 'adopted' grandchildren, I'm gifted with so much 'love'
from these precious souls, the energy that we share is beyond words.
SherAnn ( 18 yrs ) got married in February, I just got the announcement that 'they' are with child.
When I shared my excitement with others, what I heard was;
“why would she want a kid at this time, with all the crap that's going on in the world.”
My response; “there's no time to dilly dally, what ever one wants to experience 'do it now'
what ever your desire is, experience it, feel it, share it, be it, & most of all allow it.”
What I recognize about 'us', (humans) we judge another to make ourselves
'feel' superior, which ( from my point of view ) is another one of those grand illusions.
"Nothing truly valuable arises from ambition or from a mere sense of duty;
it stems rather from love and devotion towards men and towards objective things."
'D' and I look more alike today then when we were younger.
David is in the back ground, the one with the glasses.
It was his 80th B-day. Wonderful celebration.
