# 026 Sun God of Palenque

Palenque stands at the peak of Mayan artistic expression
and execution. Here we have a 3D image of the Sun God in
Vegetable Ivory two different directions and two identities
one Human (Chalum) and one Jaguar (Balum). Chalum Balum
was the son of Pacal Voltan who was entombed inside the
Temple of Inscriptions, Palenque, Mex. The Jaguar has
an amber Mayan head in its jaws.
