2012 – yes please!

The author lives on an island, part of the United Kingdom. Since being a toddler he has lived and worked with mother earth in many arenas. He read Orwell’s “1984” in 1975 and subsequently spent three sleepless nights in the realisation that Orwell had his date wrong! He has refused to buy any kind of newspaper for twenty years and has nothing but contempt for the mind-numbing content of 95% of TV broadcasts. From this perspective the following thoughts are offered.

Since the turn of the last century mankind has plundered the earths resources and procreated, both at an exponential rate. As we are at the top of the food chain only our own stupidity (wars etc) and mother earth can control our numbers. It is no coincidence that when we find a cure for the latest malady or plague that mother earth creates a new one for us. It can’t be any other way, she’s in charge no matter what we may prefer to think.

During the past ten years there has been an acceleration in the deterioration of all that is best about mankind. Caring, sharing, respect, manners, tolerance and on and on the list grows. To be forced aside by the power hungry and consumerist philosophy, the followers of which as a rule actually contribute little or nothing.

Intuition and instinct told me that there had to come a change. It was also obvious that the powers that be along with the majority of the masses would not change their “I’m alright jack” attitudes. A few years ago either by luck, coincidence, or destiny I came across details of the “Hopi Prophecy” and then some time later the Lakota peoples “White Buffalo Calf Woman”. Having always felt an affinity with Native Americans it was easy to accept these prophecies as making perfect sense. Especially with the hopes that their references to change had to offer. Only timescale now remained as the frustrating element.

Enter Ian Xel Lungold to complete the puzzle! This was at least a couple of years after what I had learned but my guess is a clear case of “When the student is ready….”. Ian of course had a lot more information and more precise than his Native American counterparts, thanks to Dr Calleman. I have reviewed Messrs Lungold and Calleman’ information numerous times in case of misinterpretation or omission on my part. The resulting conclusion is always the same, change and in a big way.

It is impossible to see the power-mongers and n’er do wells suffering any kind of epiphany in the next two years, and aren’t the wheels already in motion? Regrettably I can’t see it happening without some kinds of apocalyptical occurrences and that would be Mother Earths way. A quick scan of entries on this website alone provides; Polar Cap, Arctic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, North Sea and African Continent. To use a familiar phrase “take a clue people!”. For humanity I would welcome a less traumatic methodology with open arms and heart but we all know that some lessons just have to be learnt the hard way. I look forward to spectating the events as they unfold.

As for “2012” the movie? Since when has Hollywood managed to get the past right, what chance the future? Take it for what it is, entertainment for the masses and for the few a cue to find out about the Mayan truth.
