5th Sun?
by Ramon Mendoza
Introduction:
Since being totally humbled over what I thought I knew about the Mayan Calendar, I have thrown away my references (I am lying for effect) and waiting for the rest of the story being told by Andi Mac and Jag...on behalf of Carl J. Calleman and their combined work and research. http://www.calleman.com and http://www.mayan-calendar-code.com/
Their “Track Down” series has been very enlightening, providing some of what I knew and a lot of what I didn’t know. What is getting my absolute focus and attention is their generous series that is being freely circulated about disproving what we all thought we knew and what is real...like the information concerning thirteen constellations and the true galactic cycles/zodiac.
Where they have taken me so far in this series is to make an excellent argument about the cycle of Ages, and the issue of counting time...much like the way the Gregorian Calendar creates a false relationship with where we are in spacetime. Yes, I know that the cycle of Ages and the Mayan Calendar have no connection except as an overlay it makes communication with others more easily transitional for what needs to be understood about our timeline metrics. However, if you follow the Track Down series...you will see where the CBS or NBC series on this made some very unreal claims that can confuse the truth. So I welcome the Andi Mac and Jag series as very important information.
The old/new constellation is “The Serpent Bearer” that in Greek is Ophiuchus. Most importantly, if you follow the timespace we are in, within each of the 13 zodiac signs...you will quickly see that timelines currently followed by Astrologer’s is wrong...thus, the reading of what timespace is compelling to us is also wrong. Another important issue is that the Maya knew about Ophiuchus...and they have provided the glyphs to show this is true.
The second issue which I am waiting to see in this series is the answer to the question...what Age are we into (Pisces or Aquarius) and what timeline count are we on, following the sequence of events since 3115 AD (if that is really where we start counting) today. So suddenly...2012 seems to be begging some answers as a result of the new information. For example...is Ophiuchus the 10th constellation? Is lord Itzamna the equivalent of Ophiuchus? On the latter question I believe it is. In other words...both represent the Milky Way and on the galactic butterfly falls into the “cross roads” of the infinity movement made by that symbol. See, I have not thrown away everything!
The salad, meat and potato’s
Now about the 5th Sun. If the information about a new Sun spot is in fact the new sun/cycle of (#?) as astronomy provides and equivalent to the counting of worlds and Suns...then the end of the calendar is not far away (duh what is new?). But how far away is it, in light of this new information? May I suggest if you do not already follow the Track Down series...that you email Andi Mac and Jag and beg as humbly as you can to get on the train! As Ian Lungold used to say... “There is a Train Wreck coming” and the train being run by Carl J. Calleman is a different train with different engineer taking us away from the wreck. There will be survivors and having the right map can help.
Epilog
BTW...as most know, the documentary produced by Jose Jaramillo (In Between 2 Worlds) explained very well the idea of the problems with the Gregorian Calendar...and part 2 is now under production regarding our personal alignment with the Calendar. None of that information is changed by this, with the exception of conclusions regarding the actual ending of the calendar cycle...commencing the new long count cycle. What is most important is that we must all realize that the Gregorian Calendar and all that we thought we knew is being realigned to the actual spacetime we are in...hence the Tzolkin cycles and Calleman’s thoughts about 13 cycles may in fact need to be reviewed, seeing it in a different metric!
We may also need to reexamine the relationship to the 9 increments of Tzolkin metrics as well, regarding day count and night count. But heck, I still like the way it was broken down by Carl and Ian. Simple is often times better than complicated and difficult to understand. Especially for us old guys! ;o)
New Sun (Spot)

Retrieved September 2008 from: http://www.spaceweather.com/
NEW SUNSPOT: A new sunspot is emerging in the sun's northern hemisphere. After several months of almost-relentlessly blank suns, "this is like a breath of fresh plasma," says photographer Pete Lawrence who sends this picture from Selsey, UK:
The magnetic polarity of the emerging spot identifies it as a member of new Sunspot Cycle 24. Because the year 2008 has brought so many blank suns, some observers have wondered if we are ever going to climb out of the ongoing deep solar minimum. This new sunspot is an encouraging sign that the 11-year solar cycle is indeed progressing, albeit slowly.
