The Breakthrough Celebration -
Generating a flow towards oneness by the year 2012
There have been many questions about the fact that
Don Alejandro Oxlaj - head of the council of elders of the Maya -
in an interview has rejected the December 21, 2012 date
as the ending of the current creation. I want to point out here
that I have also myself for more than a decade consistently rejected this date.
Although the Maya have continued to use the sacred 260 day
calendar unaltered they abandoned the use of the Long Count
several centuries ago and so the date December 21, 2012
is something that has become known from the archaeologists
and not from the contemporary Maya.
There are however strong reasons to doubt that archaeologists,
who often look upon the Mayan calendar as a superstition to begin with, would
be able to address the question when the point of completion of the
present creation is. I feel finding the answer to this requires a
different point of departure, one where you see the Mayan calendar
as a true description of the evolution of consciousness.
Based on research based on such a point of departure
I have come to the conclusion that the fulfilment of the present creation
will take place on October 28, 2011 following which a world in the state
of oneness could emerge in the year 2012. I feel however everyone
should try to come to some kind of conclusion on the end date issue.
Is the end date about some event that then is to happen
(in the sky or elsewhere) or is it a completion and a fulfilment of
an evolution that we are part of already at the present time?
The Breakthrough Celebration (www.breakthroughcelebration.com)
is for those that believe that the Mayan calendar describes a process
of evolution that we are in the midst of at the present time and want to be
part of generating a flow towards manifesting oneness
on this planet by the year 2012. It is for those that recognize that
this can only be the result of a process that is generated at the present time
and not later. For the kick-off of this process on May 27-28 2006
plans are under way in a number of places across the planet
to organize events and the Forum of http://btc.airstreamradio.com/forum/
is a place where such may be announced.
On this site a few initial ambassadors are also announced. These are people that from
different perspectives see the evolution of consciousness as linked to the
Mayan calendar and want to be part of the generation of a flow towards oneness.
These ambassadors represent East and West as well as science and spirituality.
In fact, anybody can be an ambassador for the Breakthrough Celebration.
To be an ambassador means to know the attached Ahau days
of the global meditations included in the Breakthrough Celebration,
and who speaks to people about using them for creating a flow towards
oneness by meditations, deekshas, prayers or whatever spiritual practices
people feel are theirs. The Breakthrough Celebration does not belong to any one
movement or organization, but to all seeking to be part of the process
towards the state of oneness. In fact, this process will require
the participation of a broad spectrum of individuals and movements
and no one is able to tell at the present time who is going to make decisive
contributions to it. To be an ambassador also means to

between occasions, places and practices.
