the Tibetan Lama-Sage Speak In the book 'Shambhala: Oasis of Light' (by Andrew Tomas; Sphere Books Ltd; 1977) the author shares a meeting he had with a Tibetan Lama (fromLhasa) in a small temple high up in the mountains in the northern part of Darjeeling, India. The Lama was fluent in English. The author wanted to find out about the deeper dimension of TibetanBuddhismand about the divine Plan for humanity, and how best hecould serve this Plan. The significance of what the Lama told him is so vital for the present times that I decided to include an entire section of the book in this World Report. Another fascinating aspect of the Lama's teaching (and warning to mankind) was that the new incoming Age will be that of Tara, the Tibetan goddess of the planet Venus (Tara is also known as Kuan Yin. Few people realise that Tara/Kuan Yin is directly associated with Venus, the Earth's Twin Soul-Sister planet). As some of you might know there will be a highly unusual alignment of the SunVenusEarth on June 8, 2004, with Venus/Tara being the focal point of this cosmicsolarplanetary alignment (There are in fact two inter-linked alignments of Venus to the SunEarth, the second being in 2012). The significance that theTibetan Lama attached to the influence of Tara and the fact that Venus will be making this alignment in June 2004 make me realise (in a moment of intuitive synchronicity) the vital significance of what is shared below. It is also worthwhile noting that Venus/Tara is 'exalted' (gains its greatest and most direct influence) in Pisces, and Uranus (the planet ruling Aquarius) has just entered Pisces and makes its midlife 'turning point' opposition (180degree) aspect to Uranus in Virgo (governing the February 1962 chart of the New Age of Aquarius) in 2004. All these synchronised facets came together in my consciousness as I was re-reading this book. The Lama first asked the author to do the following: 'Imagine that you are holding your vices in your right hand and your virtues in your left. Now put your invisible sins on the stone floor and part with your virtues in the same way. Your face is covered with a mask - your personality, which comprises your age, sex, nationality, profession and so on. Some masks are ugly and made of clay, others are marble and are beautiful. Some are golden and others made of iron, but whatever your mask is, temporarily put it down on the floor in front of you'. A feeling of emptiness and lack of orientation suddenly appeared as I lost my name, age, sex, nationality, profession - in fact all of my personal characteristics. I almost heard my mask go down with a thud on the ground. 'You are now mentally and spiritually naked, merely a centre of awareness, possessing nothing. You are now only a flame in an ocean of fire. Spiritually we are far beyond the confines of earth and are blending our fires with those of distant stars in the Great Void'. A strange exhilarating expansion of consciousness over-shadowed me in a natural effortless way. The mental influence of the pundit-lama must have helped to make everything so vivid. 'We are now ascending to the plane of No-Time where everything exists now, where there is no past, present or future'. All of a sudden I felt a complete blank as if time had stopped forever. It was a sensation of a total unity with the limitless, timeless universe. After the author came out of this state of consciousness the Lama took him down a secret passageway in the Monastery. They descended into a high cave with stalactites and stalagmites which reminded the author of a mediaeval chapel. The Lama took him to a large bronze statue of Tara, the goddess of the planet Venus. Tara is the Madonna of Tibet, Nepal and most of Asia, where she is also known as Kuan Yin, the goddess of Mercy. In front of Tara was an oval reservoir of water, filled to the brim with water from the dripping stalactites. 'These are the tears of Tara, lamenting the fall of man from his divine station', said the Lama. Have you heard of the Lhama Lamtso Lake in Tibet in which visions are seen when Lamaist officials search for the place of birth of the future Dalai Lama?' said the Lama. 'This pool is similar to the sacred lake and in it pictures of great significance can also be seen'. With curiosity I looked into the water reflecting the light of the surrounding candles, but I saw nothing. 'Look deeper.still deeper.Om Mani Padme Hum', intoned the Lama. The reflections in the water pool began to vanish and a layer of mist covered the water. Unexpectedly I began to see pictures in the pool with utmost clarity as if I was watching the screen of a colour television set. The first scene was our planet in space with its great oceans, continents and masses of cloud formations, like a NASA space television broadcast. In a minute or two the appearance of the globe began to change radically. Heavy grey, black, brown and red clouds covered the more populated parts of the earth. Occasionally this mass of clouds was pierced by fiery red flashes as if from explosions. At times light blue, rose or golden rays and stars arose from the dark background to brighten it. But the whole planet was swamped by an enormous aura of dark ugly colours. 'You are observing the mental and emotional vibrations emitted by mankind and, as you can see, their quality is very low - look at that grey fog of selfishness. The blue sparks are spiritual aspirations of the minority, blotted out by the mass thoughts of desire, passion, hatred and greed which have forced this gigantic aura around the planet in the course of thousands of years. It is just like the ionised layers around the earth which reflect radio waves,' said the Lama. 'Our planet is sick due to man's wrong thinking' I whispered. At times the dark clouds protruded far out into space reminding me of the tentacles of an octopus. This dark octopus flying in interplanetary space and the sensation that I lived on its back made me shudder. At that moment brilliant rays of blue, rose and snow-white flashed like lightning through the dark conglomeration. 'Are they positive mental emissions of groups of people?' I asked. 'They are, and you can see how the dark aura of the earth can be cleansed by them if man could only try to broadcast thoughts and emotions on that wave-length. This is what people should do systematically and by synchronisation so that the whole planet would emit fine spiritual vibrations. Tara has cried long enough. Mother Nature may one day decide to shake off those shortsighted minds which have created this horrible shell around the earth. Humanity must purify and disinfect its planetary home. The Arhats (enlightened beings) are doing all they can to neutralise the evil but it is more important to stop the constantly created new negative emissions and only man/woman can do that'. 'But I must tell you a legend which is as old as the Himalayas. Even though you may be a little cold in this cave I want to relate this tale before the face of our Goddess Tara for every soon we are entering her epoch'. The Lama continued 'Our oral teaching of the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery asserts that millions of years ago a number of superhuman beings, from another highly advanced world, came to earth for the acceleration of the evolution of this planet and its future mankind. They had 'mind-born' bodies that were created artificially from primordial matter, which could be made as heavy as the core of the earth or as light and fiery as sunlight. In appearance they were god-like giants. Among these angels was Mara, whom you call Lucifer or Satan. His important task was to develop the concrete mind and individuality in men/woman. In the course of ages he had accomplished his aim but when the Bodhisattvas and Tara appeared later in order to foster the heart of man, he refused to step aside. This was the revolt of Satan against the rulers of Cosmic Cycles. Since that time he does mot bear the title of Light-bringer or Lucifer any longer He is now the Prince of Darkness. From then on the Bodhisattvas have had a double task: on the one hand of combating Mara's attempts to chain man to the earth and make him selfish, unscrupulous and warlike; and on the other, of working for the spiritual advancement of mankind, ordained by the law of cycles. This is what induces us to send Buddhas and Arhats to this world. It is the lack of desire of the Terrestrial Ruler (the Prince of Darkness) to co-operate with the Lord of the Sun and the Spirits of the Planets that has created a cosmic crisis. Mankind must now decide on which side it is - on the side of Light or darkness, and then reap its Karma. All the peoples must now choose between the old ways of strife or a new order or world brotherhood-sisterhood. The exalted beings of the Sun and other worlds say to Satan - let your lamp shine but do not obstruct other and more glorious lights in starry space. Break down the wall around the earth for in that shell humanity is spiritually suffocating. The Cosmic Clock shows that soon the time will come for the Age of Spirit. You could not stop it if you wanted, for the Dhyan Chohans are soon bringing a body from space, which is as yet invisible - a mere vortex of forces, but when it flares up, its flames will burn all your works. Century after century, millennium after millennium we have contacted mankind with messages suited for particular peoples. All of them stressed unity and universal brotherhood. Unfortunately very few have succeeded in awakening mankind, hence the necessity to issue a final warning in these critical times. This is our Planetary Ultimatum and mankind will have to accept the Commandment of the Heart or else it will destroy itself. In breaking the Karmic Law of the universality of life with his destructive behaviour, man will be judged and punished by Nature. Whole cities might be washed away into the oceans and great continents crack in volcanic cataclysms. After the Year of the Arhats the Planetary Ultimatum has to be brought to the attention of all the peoples of the earth. This message should be delivered with kindness and compassion, yet very firmly because it is a warning. And warnings are brought only by well-wishers. Man will then have to make his supreme choice - Light or Darkness, Peace or War, Heart or Fist, Wisdom or Ignorance. Can you understand now that mankind is a battlefield of Celestial Forces? This is, of course, a very ancient teaching incorporated in all religions. A War of Worlds is raging now and let us hope that man will not side with the Forces of Darkness for then he shall be removed by the Lords of Karma from the face of the earth'. 'Ancient legends speak of a similar planetary crisis in the last days of Atlantis' I remarked, deeply shocked by the Lama's revelations. 'That is true but our present crisis might be even more acute in view of the increased population and the greater obscuration of spirituality in man', said the Lama. 'Our Planetary Ultimatum has to reach all men and women on earth. At this crossing of the roads humanity has to choose between a path going down into the pit of moral decay or one that ascends to the stars. This is the time of a terrestrial emergency. If the warning is ignored and the masses continue to tread the present path, siding with the Prince of Darkness, then the Cosmic Hierarchy will take the challenge and the Radiant Ruler of Shamballa will destroy all evil on this planet'. 'Do you expect me to present these legends and prophesies to the public at large and still be considered sane' I asked. 'In this century the nations of the world have fought two World wars and they might yet fight another one. Are they sane? You will have to do it, and there will be many other voices, for so much is at stake, the destiny not only of mankind but that of a planet. The people's of the earth must understand that the time of crucifixions and of gentle prophets preaching to raving crowds is ended. This time the Arhats will speak with lightning, thunder and star showers. The Epoch of Shamballa is here. Please note here that I am not prophesying but disclosing strategic moves of the Celestial Armies in their battle against the teeming warriors of darkness. There is a war underway - the War of Worlds, of exalted cosmic superhuman systems combating the evil forces of the earth which poison space and injure the whole solar system. Whether or not man believes that there is such a war in the heavens is irrelevant - he is still responsible for his actions and will reap his Karma. But there is something that is liable to make the mighty Karmic Lords and ourselves, their servants, heard. As the guardians of the cultural legacies of vanished civilisations we shall open secret vaults in Egypt and demonstrate the existence of a high science and technology in the remote past. On your television screens people will see artefacts of a bygone age. The moral of this discovery will be this - what happened to them can happen to you too. You can also become a vanished civilisation and a legend that no one will believe ten thousand years from now. This will be the principle message of the treasure - do not follow Atlantis'. 'What would you expect mankind to do after this revelation' I asked The teaching of Tara, the doctrine of the Heart, must form the foundation of a new sociology. We must realise that we are members of one planetary family', the Lama said with great warmth. 'Can we solve our problems without the apocalyptic upheavals which you mentioned,' I asked. 'We can and we should, but shall we? Will the majority abandon the ways of greed, selfishness, narrow nationalism, and the worship of the sensual at the expense of the spiritual? People do not have to become monks and nuns but they can certainly live and think like real human beings. Why do they have to be killers of their brothers and destroyers of Mother Nature? Karma, Cosmic Justice, is terrible in its action. Why challenge it?' the Lama said. 'Should the Planetary Ultimatum, this warning to the nations which you have spoken of, reach only the Governments or the people as well,' I questioned. 'Both. A Government without the support of its people cannot last, nor can the masses, without some representation, express their will on behalf of the whole nation'. 'Is this Ultimatum connected with the Epoch of Shamballa which is spoken of in your ancient writings?' I enquired. 'It is the opening of the gates to a better Era, the cycle of Tara. Take her sign, that of the Heart, let it unite all mankind, for all good religion and ideology is based on humanism. The sign of the Heart is the sign of the next Epoch, that of Maitreya; that is what Kalachakra, the science of Cycles says. We shall continue tomorrow,' concluded the Lama. The next day we continued the dialogue. The Lama showed me various Tibetan tanka's. This is the tanka of Maitreya, the coming Buddha' he said. He is smiling and upstanding to signify that His mission is benevolent and His arrival sudden. Maitreya cannot save mankind - He will show the way but it will be up to mankind to tread that road. When evil reaches its peak and the scales go down under the weight of hatred, ignorance and moral filth, then Shamballa will request the Dhyan Chohans to move the astronomical body beyond Jupiter closer and make it luminous. The new radiation will transform all life on this planet'. 'When will this great cosmic event take place' I asked The new luminary will become visible later in the century but its approach will take many years'. 'And how about the advent of the Maitreya' I asked'In the last quarter of the 20th Century mankind must 'prepare' for the coming of the Arhats, and even Maitreya Himself. The Commandment of the Heart will be placed before all people. Therefore, when the Sphinx of Giza sounds his warning, prepare for great things. The Planetary Ultimatum offers all on this planet the chance to exercise the prerogative of freewill to choose Light or Darkness, Brotherhood or Selfishness.' PPS: In our last Newsletter I made it quite clear that we did not attend the Findhorn Fnd Healing Conference because we felt ashamed of its outdated and old-fashioned nature, especially the fact that at no time during the Conference (attended by over 350 people) was time given over to guided global healing meditations in service of humanity and the planet. Apparently a number of people in the Community were rather angry at our statement. As can be seen from the vision of the author and from the advice of the Lama the earth needs this type of 'collective network' and 'large-group' healing meditation more than ever before at this critical time in humanities history. As such not only do we not apologise for our statement in the newsletter but we say to the people who criticised us for making the statement - 'The over-emphasis you put on your small lives and your small personal healing processes is a disgrace to humanity, and you should be ashamed that you fail to even acknowledge this small-mindedness and small heartedness at this critical time in human history. Your lack of real compassion and empathy for humanities suffering (and for the suffering of the Iraqi people) is a sign of selfishness and of deep-set crystallisation and stagnation, and you fail to understand and apply the real meaning of true updated spirituality. We stand by our statement fully - and are proud to do so. The Findhorn Foundation Community is deeply crystallised and the fire has gone out of its energy system and it is failing in its global service work and responsibilities. Denial will do it and its members no good whatsoever. The fires of Shamballa will soon stream through the Community too, and it will suffer the painful consequences of its failure to acknowledge its ego pride and self-centred and selfish limitations. On the human level it is no longer a Planetary Centre of Light - it has become a middle-class comfort zone for people running away from life and from their true responsibilities to humanity. And (short) time will prove this point and vindicate our statement in the newsletter'. Some Comments on the section by the Tibetan Lama The 'luminary' that is said to be beyond Jupiter was referred to by the Master Morya in the 1930's: 'I said a long time ago that the new luminary is approaching but as yet hidden from observation'. It would seem that the observation of this 'luminary' (or Raja Sun as it is referred to by Master Morya) and the opening up of the secrets of the Pyramid of Giza might well co-inside in time. Whether this dual revelation will co-inside in some way with the Venus-Sun alignment in June 2004 (and again in 2012) I have no idea, but since the goddess Tara is given such significance by the Lama many surprises might come about from June 8, 2004. The Tibetan Master DK (who transmitted the Arcane Teachings for the New Age to Alice Bailey) also gives great significance to Venus as the Higher Self of the Earth. DK even went as far as to say that the Venus revelation was the 'secret of secrets' (as far as humanity goes). It is also fascinating to note that the highly popular and modern-day book 'The Da Vinci Code' (by Dan Brown) deals with the secrets of Venus, including the fact that the ancient Greeks (a Venusian-based civilisation and culture) planned the four-year cycle Olympic Games to co-inside with the four-year pentagram-movement cycle of Venus, and 2004 sees the Olympic Games return to its ancient home of origin, namely Greece or Hellas. The five-sided Star is the symbol of Venus, and it is also the symbol of the Higher Self, Soul, Solar Angel or Christ Self, and of course the five-ringed symbol of the Olympic Games. So it would seem that 2004, and especially June through to end October, is a vital time for the Venus revelation and for the advent of Venus/Tara/Kuan Yin energy into the earth and humanity. Since women have a more natural connection to Venus/Tara/the Madonna energy it would seem that women will be the channels through which Tara seeks her Heart-Love-Beauty-Harmony manifestation. Certain Venus-type women and Venus-type networks and activities will be the channels for Venus energy in June onwards. We should also remember that it is the Archangel and Angel(s) of Venus who transmit this energy into the Earth and humanity. The 5th 'orange-hued' ray governs Venus and the Master of this ray is Master Hilarion, an incarnation of St Paul. He is said to have a Cretan body. The 5th ray is, strangely enough, the ray of 'knowledge and science', so maybe there will be some great 'scientific' revelation in 2004 (I say 'strangely enough' because Venus is not normally associated with 'knowledge and science' but more with heart, love, beauty and harmony. The keynote of Venus is in fact 'intelligent love' or 'pure reason' which is the perfect combination of heart and mind, and pure science and pure knowledge is really the synthesis of love and intelligence). Since Venus is ruled by the fifth ray and the revelation of the Pyramid of Giza will be largely 'scientific and technological' (in terms of the advanced scientific civilisation of Atlantis and ancient Egypt) it might well be that part of the revelation of the Venus alignment will be a great scientific discovery associated with the Pyramids and/or other ancient Temples around the world. Maybe women will be the agencies of these discoveries and revelations? We will see - soon enough. Since the Iraqi War can be seen as the darkest aspect of modern-day humanity it might well be time for the lightest aspect of modern-day humanity to be equally revealed - to create appropriate balance? JUNE is the month of this critical balancing: Saturn, Lord of Karma and Balancing (Saturn is 'exalted' in Libra, the sign of Balancing), comes up to conjunct the Sun sign of the USA and GW Bush, and the Iraqi crisis reaches peak, plus early June is the Gemini Full Moon or Festival of Humanity (and Venus is the soul-ruling planet of Gemini) and June 8 is the actual VenusSun alignment (The Sun and Venus will both be in Gemini). This alignment creates a clear and unimpeded channel for the energies of Gemini (the sign ruling humanity) and Venus/Tara to enter the Earth and humanity, and thus bring about some great revelation that will open humanities mind and heart to greater truth and reality. Whether the Network of Light is prepared for and ready for this revelation is another thing altogether - it will (in my eyes) take the Light Network with as much surprise as anyone else. THERE IS STILL TIME TO PREPARE. PS: The last time the SunVenus.Earth alignment occurred was in December 6, 1882. It has only occurred five times in known human history. The exact time of the Venus transit is 6:19am on June 8. It will appear as a tiny speck at one side of the Sun and will slowly transverse the fiery ball for the next six hours (It will be clearly seen from Europe, Africa and Asia).This type of transit occurs when Venus and Earth, whose paths around the Sun tilt at slightly different angles, line up exactly where their orbits cross. As a result there is a conjunction alignment between the Sun, Venus and Earth. In esoteric astrology and psychology the Sun represents the Monad or Spirit of our solar Logos and System, Venus represents the Soul, and the Earth the personality. As such, at the inner levels, there is an alignment between SpiritSoulPersonality and an inflow of these triune energies into the planet and its kingdoms, including the 4th 'mediating' kingdom, humanity, and this will bring all manner of as yet unknown revelation, illumination, discovery (spiritual and scientific) and creative manifestation into and through the human kingdom. Individuals, couples, groups and networks who align consciously with this cosmic-solar-planetary alignment will obviously receive the benefits. People should organise special meditations on the morning of June 8 (or at the appropriate time in terms of 'local 'time' in each country). Try and include the symbols of the Sun, Venus and earth in the meditation circles. Use the Great Invocation for extra potency and effect. Yahoo!
