Tzolkin  TZOLKIN: COUNT OF DAYS

Tzolkin Trecena Notes – 1 Men

Trecenas are thirteen-day periods in the Tzolkin. Each Trecena starts with the Number 1, but with a different Day Glyph. As a wave of the Thirteen Heavens, the underlying energy is governed by the First Day Glyph of the Trecena and influences all thirteen successive Day Glyphs. Being aware of the predominant energy of the First Day of the Trecena, we can align our intentions with that energy and allow our goals to manifest.

Today (Gregorian date: June 26, 2007), the Trecena starts with 1 Men (Eagle) – free spirited, bringer of faith and knowledge, new beginnings, spark of divine creation, global visionary due to Eagle’s view from above illuminating the whole picture.

Eagle energy is conscious, focused action towards achieving a material or spiritual goal.

Eagle energy elevates our spirit to new heights – a new perspective of looking at the situation as it relates to the whole picture. Eagle represents the wholeness in spirit, body and mind that we all strive for.

Eagle energy shifts our viewpoint to the galactic level and encourages us to be balanced between Heaven and Earth focused on what’s important in our lives and also our ultimate destiny.

As we journey through each day of this Trecena (1 Men, 2 Cib, 3 Caban, 4 Etznab, 5 Cauac, 6 Ahau, 7 Imix, 8 Ik, 9 Akbal, 10 Kan, 11 Chicchan, 12 Cimi, 13 Manik), focus on the vision of your destiny and use the power and insight of the Eagle to achieve it.
